Our Music
Come let us sing for joy to the Lord...... (Psalm 95:1)
Our services are filled with a wonderful blend of music. We use the blue Anglican Common Praise hymn book and the St. Barnabas Song Book which contains contemporary hymns and choruses as well as some oldie goldies. Most Sundays our Music Director, Shiela Tyrrell and the full SATB choir lead the hymns and delight us with inspiring anthems.
Fun-filled choir rehearsals are held Thursday evenings 7:00 - 9:00 pm September to June. Membership in the choir is open to anyone. You don't have to audition, just let Sheila know so we can have materials ready for you. You don't have to be able to read music, you just have to love to sing.
On the 4th Sunday of the month, Sheila, and a worship team lead the music in a service that is contemporary both in music and liturgy.
