I'm new to St. Barnabas, to church, to the area
No matter how you ended up at our website, we're just glad you're here.
St. Barnabas is part of the Anglican Church of Canada, in the diocese of Toronto, but we are really just a collection of people who love God and who help and support each other.
We worship together on Wednesday at 10:00 am and our main service is on Sunday at 10:00 am. Our gatherings are very relaxed and family-friendly and open to anyone. Check out the What to Expect page for more information.
If you are new to church or just looking around, we would love to help. It's not as intimidating as you might think because we are really all on the same life journey. How much better if we walk the road together. Friendship, love, companionship, support. These are found when we are together.
And in case you're wondering, we do food and beverages well! We have a social time after each Sunday service with coffee, tea, juice and snacks. And once a month, after service on the second Sunday of the month, there is a free soup luncheon.
New to Peterborough? There is nothing like getting to know people to help you get settled.
There is lots of information about us on the website, start on the Home page for directions. If you would like to speak to Fr. Eugene or anyone, check out the Contact Us page.
